Deer Park

Deer Park is a desirable affluent neighbourhood that hosts a mix between luxury homes and a strong collection of luxury condos. It trades a dense view of sky scrapers and high-rise office buildings for lush trees and an upscale residential area. If location is a strong point of interest as you search for your home, Deer Park is just a 10 minute drive from the core, located in the bustling area of Yonge and St. Claire and in close proximity to some of Toronto’s most beautiful parks.

In the early 1800’s, Deer Park was a meadow where deer would come to feed. After the deer were long gone in 1908, Deer Park was annexed to the city of Toronto and quickly became one of Toronto’s finest residential districts. It’s made up of detached and semi-detached houses of various architectural styles, with a good blend of both new and old homes.

There are many reasons why Deer Park is a desirable location. Aside from the fact that the residential streets spill out into the main arteries, there are plenty of parks, ravines and trails to choose from. Take a walk through Rosehill Reservoir, which is one of Toronto’s prettiest green spaces. Paired with David Balfour Park, this is the perfect place to take a quiet stroll to escape the bustling midtown and enjoy nature. At the northern tip of Deer Park is Oriole Park, which includes Neshama Playground, a wading pool and two tennis courts.
